People read books from guys like Chuck Palahniuk, who is best known as a author of Fight Club, a book best known from movie based on it starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. At backcover of Palahniuks book "Non-Fiction", an collection of interviews and texts referring to some part of authors life, poetic introduction announces how "his life haven't been like your or mine". In a way it is true. Life as a SuicideSurfer has been much interesting.

Noboby is born perfect, but some of us are born ready. It is a true anomaly, if someone knows or realises that he or she is a SuicideSurfer in other way than in retrospect. But hell, even Joe or Jay didn't realise the fact before this site was created. There was a vague idea of traveling and doing something with lives which were bogged like a SuicideCow at Nine Mile Beach or Adam, The Lord of Sunnyvale at Noosa Heads. Funky name SuicideSurfers came up when team was in its most creative stage, dead drunk.

Being a SuicideSurfer mean experiencing things. Before the first official project, the Australian Roadtrip, traveling was definetely the main idea. But the fact is you can experience important, meaningful and deep things just by staying where you are. Hauling your ass to the other side of the world isn't the solution, it is part of the problem.

Still some of the best stories are born while traveling. You do something, remember it somehow, spice it a little bit and voilá, we have a story. If you keep count, you can actually see that Chuck Palahniuks life isn't that special compared to yours or mine. You wrestle, fight, fuck and meet more or less cool people. Difference between you and Chuck is that he writes it down. So do the SuicideSurfers.

Whole point is to keep track so someday people writing here can visit here by themselves and think:

"Hey, these stories aren't THAT bad."

SuicideSurfers have friends and enemies. This site has diaries, pictures, some essays and bad attitude.
