27.9 "a tip of the iceberg"

It was time to check out the other beaches at Sydney. We headed south to Coogee beach, which was supposed to be popular with backpackers. We walked all the way. It wasn't so far away, but with the warm weather, backpacks and all the roads going up and down, it turned out to be quite exhausting. When we reached the Coogee beach, we just went to the first hostel we found and took beds from a dorm.At the dorm we met Terry. You can say right away, that there is something extraordinary with Terry. Terry is a big and friendly fellow, who knows a lot of things that other people don't. But he only could tell us "only a tip of the iceberg", as he said. If I understood right, Terry was programmed by his father, who was programmed by his grandfather, who did research and developed psychological warfare, among other things. But in a way Terry is special, because from his line he is the first to have enhanced memory. Terry also told us (and everyone else he met, I belive...) that in heavymetal lyrics, which is warrior music, is written the true history. So Terry, following the program and research of his grandfather, carried around some Iced Earth and Bathory cd's. Anyway, Terry was such a great guy that he'll end up to our surfer gallery soon. We'll try to write his thoughts down, the way we understood them, more complete there.
After checking to hostel we went to look around a little. There wasn't surfable waves at Coogee, but there are quite a good services. I even found a guitar shop, which I visited later. We bought two bottles of beer from local "bottle shop". We went back to hostel, drank our beers (800ml each...) and took a little nap. After waking up again, I returned to the guitar shop to test some guitars. There were a couple of good ones, but I wanted to check other places as well. But I bought all Jazz III picks from the shop... We went and ate indian food and bought more beer. When we finished them, we went to bar.
At the bar, it was a open mic night. Too bad that I didn't buy guitar yet. Couple of players there were actually good. We bought quite a few jugs of beer and met some local people. One of them, his name was Jake I think, even promised to take us surfing next day. At the end of the evening we were really drunk. I think that Joe threw up when we finally came back to hostel.
