2.1 Bris Vegas

Yesterday we came to Brisbane, because Joe's girlfriend came to Australia for ten days. So far we have only driven through this city for three times, so I had no idea what to expect. When passing the city the driveways have kind of reminded me of classic Sega game Sonic the Hedgehog. Although the city is away from the coast and doesn't have a beach for surfing, it seems to me like a really nice place. At the new years eve I met two girls who are from here and I'm supposed to meet them when they come back here. Yeah, right. I bet that they won't never contact me.

When I woke up yesterday, I had a really bad hangover. It was so bad that until three or so I felt like throwing up. I would have done it, but as we all know it wouldn't have helped. The hangover lasted the whole day and made me really passive and slow, so I didn't do much. I rested most of the day and only went down to bar to eat and play couple rounds of pool. My best accomplishment for the day was that I broke the window from Joe and his girlfriends room. It was cool. Even more groovy than that was the Surma t-shirt, which boys had sent me back from home. It's awesome. Thanks!

Today I've been exploring the city a bit more. I like the place. It's spacious, the buildings look nice and there are lots of beautiful parks and stuff here. Now that Joe is with his girlfriend, I get a little more time for myself, so when in the afternoon they went to see museos and shit, I played my guitar for few ours at balcony of our hostel. If there wouldn't have been the noise of the traffic, hundreds of people passing by would have heard my playing. How cool is that! (Truth is that they would have been really pissed off, because mostly I practised scales...)

Now that we are here, I had to visit the Casino. With high hopes I was prepared to work for a while playing poker. But although the Casino was a cool and nice looking place, there wasn't a chance to play any real poker like hold 'em or omaha. Sure, they had tablegames, but it was they typical stuff like blackjack and shit. Games that you play against the house, not other people. And on those games you can always just lose. So it seems that I'll have to go to Las Vegas if I want to play somewhere else than in internet.
